We're putting together my B18c and cant find the "oil orafice(sp) control" fitting anywhere. It's the small brass fitting the goed in the oil passage between cylinders 2-3 on the block. Does anyone know:

A: What exactly this does

B: Is it necessary or can I run w/o it?

It's the same diametre as the passage, so we were wondering if it's a check valve or what.
It's about $6 from Acura, but will take at least a week to get in.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Larry
