Default engine bogging on hondata?

i have a d16z6 on 390cc injectors, when im at WOT the car runs fine, breaks loose and pulls hard with tons of torque... but when i try and drive normally it bogs and the revs drop REAL low like it is too rich and it smells reallly rich. Would this be because of my basemap? can i plug it into my computer and lean it out a bit at partial throttle(cuz that is when it boggs)? thx

Take it into a shop that tunes hondata, or any shop that can burn chips and have them actually tune it for you.

damn i am having the same problem with my car. i have hondata too but it never did it before until recently. it happens too when i try to cruise at a steady speed. it also does it when im on the freeway going faster than 70. i am hoping that its not the hondata or the injectors cus i dont have the money to get it retuned or get new injectors.

so i cant just plug in my laptop to it and lean it out a bit at partial throttle?, i know this is happening because it is running rich and it is just the basemap, i also do not have money to get it tuned.

how do you know your rich and how would you know how much fuel to pull out if you dont have a wideband? if you are running on the basemap and dont have money to tune it i wouldnt be boosting all around town if i were you

i would like to know as well...my car is tuned and seems like its bogged down while at cruising speed on highway...its fine while in boost, full boost....but when the boost gauge reads -10 vac it seems bogged down...it was tuned by inline pro....they said this is not a problem, infact that it happens sometimes when there is a straight pipe involved...and cat is removed...additionally, i have 550cc injectors, using hondata s100....but im not sure either...maybe somebody else knows more....

i dont know the guys at inline pro...def. know their stuff...they said its no big deal...especially if you are running rich...i dont think anything is wrong with your car...just get it tuned...let us know what happens...

maybe you need to get it tuned for part throttle instead of idle and WOT.
