Default Engine Blowing Code: High Circuit Input IAT

What would be the causes of a high input to the idle air tempurature sensor on my GSR? Is it going bad or an wiring issue.... believe the code is a P0113

you will need to find out from a service manual what resistance it should be and check it with an ohm meter to see if it is in spec. all it is is a resistor that changes resistance with temperature change.

I looked at its temperature reading on my OBD2 scanner and on a 70 deg. day like today it was reading -40 degrees....... Even if I find out the spec for it, is it adjustable?

Just sounds like it's going bad, try a known good one from a friend and see what happens.

I don't see why not, as long as you're still using an obd2 computer.

as long as the resistance range is the same it will work
