Default engine anchoring/lift points???

just wondering what points everyone uses to lift the engine in/out of the car? i've always used the timing mount & the little bracket on the tranny, or a tranny bolt.

just curious as to where the proper points are...

I'm not sure what timing mount point you are taking about - I use the tranny bracket and a bolt threaded into the head on the back driver side. That is the proper point on the drivers side.
