Endyn Catch Can Setup. Need help.
Just got the catchcan setup today. It's a lot larger than I thought. I can't find anywhere to mount the catchcan so it is higher than the supplied T for the drainback system. I got a lot of room on the left upper frame right in front of the tranny. I was thinking of just leaving it open and not T'n it into the crankcase hose. If this thing really gathers up that much oil vapors then maybe I can take the supplied line and have it drain back into a little clear homemade canister rather than having the oil drain on the ground.
Also how many of you recommend using that larger filter supplied. I talked to Endyn and they said that there isn't much sucked back into the intake stream if I plumb it back into my charge pipe due to the fact the catch can is baffled. It doesn't matter to me, I can just use the filter and then plug the nipple coming off my charge pipe. How does the oil vapors accumulate in the catch can anyways. They made it sound over the phone that it would be dripping a grip of oil. So basically it is just vapors and once settled becomes oil?

I "mounted" mine on the firewall by just zip tieing the thing as high as possible to the fuel filter.
Worked great so far.

I tried that on my setup, but since my car is RHD I got the brake booster in the way.
