Default Endyn catch can install question

I am following the "off road" installation instructions. I am supposed to tee the 3/8" drain hose from the bottom of can into 1/2" hose that goes from the bottom "bung" of the can to the driver's side plug. The way I have the catch can mounted, it would be MUCH easier if I could tee into the other 1/2" line, the one that runs from the top "bung" of the can to the passenger's side plug. Is this alright to do?

You can "T" it into either 1/2" line, Just make sure the can is higher than the drain. It will drain OK, I have installed them both ways.
