quick question
i was installing my intake and i cant find the vacuum hose that you are supposed to plug. a picture of the hose that needs plugged would be great, any help is needed. thanks!
I dont think that you have to plug anything. I didnt. There is coolant and vacum metal line. Get rid of that and take the vacum part and run a hose from the valve cover breather to the intake and just run a hose from where the coolant line is coming from to where it is going.
Sorry for the vague directions but it has been like 3 years since i put it on my car.

under the bend of the intake arm there is a black box bolted down. remove that thing. when you do there will be a grey / black vacuum line left open. you can plug that with a screw, or you can remove that line from the Intake manifold and plug the intake manifold with a rubber cap. they sell the rubber caps at any auto parts store.
If I remember right, it's the second to the left hose of the three hoses on the back left of the intake manifold. Far left goes to the cruse control, and the far right is plugged.
Disconnect that hose and put your finger over the nipple to make sure that's it...

only that hose by the intake manifold and i plugged that back in. i was revving it and it just turned off. but then i took it out for a drive and it was fine. im not sure why it was turning off when i revved it in park though.
yea but my check engine light has been on since i got my car. The only thing i capped off was the middle hose of the three on the intake manifold. everything else was left alone.

Loose battery cable, maybe? Did you remove the ground when you were installing the intake or something?

well you ought to figure out why the cel is on.....that could be your problem.....something it used to rely on to run might have been messed with now, and combined with the cel problem it is too much.....
