Ive had my emanage tuned a few times. What Im trying to do is upload a pretuned setting back in. I thought all you had to do is plug it in and open the file and it was real time data on screen. Its not working, everytime I unplug it and go back in to check it, its back to the original tuned settings.

If I remeber right, your not supposed to use the import or export buttons. Anyone know what to do?

 

you have to export the file to the unit in order for the changes to be saved to the box. if you dont you only are saving the changes to your laptop

 

Ill try it, but I was told never to import or export, and I dont remember doing that last time.

 

If you dont export it to the unit, you arent going to see any changes. The unit needs to be able to see the changes someway.
Same thing as Hondata. You need to burn the tune to the chip. Same type theory
