Default Emanage Problems

Ok so I just installed a full greddy SOHC turbo kits brand new. I got it installed and running I am having some issues with the emanage unit. I have done alot of searching to try and fix my problem with no luck. When I turn my car on "sometimes" the unit will light up green then start flashing green after I start the car after it idles for a while and runs it will drop below 1000rpm and start flashing red real fast throwing a code I turn it off and check it flashes once then twice so I figure code 11 thats my air flow signal but we checked all the wiring it seems to be fine. Turn the car off then back on and when the car is on it flashes to slow flashes like code 11 but the car is actually running instead of the on position. Again it doesnt seem like its consistant and only throws the code when the idle drops.

Car 94 honda civic DX
d15b7(stock)
88-91 SI camshaft

Any ideas?

the emanage should flash red if its a code. do you have an e-01 or a laptop hooked to it? it will flash green when making the adjustments you've put in it i think (i rarely look at mine). but if it is a code being flashed, a long flash and two short ones would be code 12, not 11. which is airflow signal 2 or or the jp3 jumper, what do you have that set at?

Its one short flash, then another short flash. No laptop or e-01 hooked to it either.
I have the factory settings on the box all besides the air fuel levels. I even took the panel off and checked to make sure the settings were correct first one is set at 2 for 1 coil 4 cylinder, second one is set to 8 and third is set to B

illusive...
In the main unit settings screen it should read:

Rotary SW1: 2
Rotary SW2: 8
Rotary SW3: A

Ignition Input Jumper: Pull Up
Ignition Output Jumper: 12V

And all the others should in "In Use"

Those are the correct settings for your car.
The E-manage book has alot of errors in it and you have to be very careful when your setting everything up.

If you need to know the correct Jumper settings for all the jumpers on the board, let me know and I'll post them.

Also, are you using both the ignition and injector harnesses? Are you using the Greddy pressure sensor?

the third rotary switch shouldn't be on "a" for a vtec engine, "b" for non vtec. but, the settings i'm talking about are inside the emanage itself. take the cover off and find out which pins are jumped on jp1-jp7. the following should be jumped:
For vtec:
jp1 1-2
jp2 1-2
jp3 2-3
jp4 1-2
jp5 open
jp6 open
jp7 open

Non vtec
jp1 1-2
jp2 1-2
jp3 1-2
jp4 open
jp5 open
jp6 open
jp7 1-2

some instructions are only in the japanese version of the manual

First off I want to thank everyone for there help.

Kell211 I tried your new settings for the box and it did the same thing it was doing earlier it was nice and happy flashing green but when the idle dropped to below 1000rpm it started flashing orange then goes to rapidly red.

B16A1-EF9 - not using any of the other harnesses just the basic emanage unit thats it.

Well if your turboing your car, I would recommend using the other two harness and the boost sensor (you'll need a third harness for the sensor, they sell it separate). With all the harnesses and sensor you'll be able to tune much more, you get timing adjustment....no need for fuel risers....and you'll be able to monitor injector duty cycle. Plus with the sensor, the sock ECU sees the stock map sensor, the e-manage wont let it see boost, and the e-manage will use the Greddy sensor to see boost.

It works great once tuned. Make sure also, you go to a good tuner that has tuned Greddy E-manage's before.
