Emanage problem (already searched) please help.
setup:
d16z6
piston/rods
greddy 19t kit
94 dx P28 ecu.
boost set at ~8.5ish
it first/second gear, i can floor it, boost spikes ~ 11psi then settles down to ~8.5, everything is good.,
but when i do a 3rd (sometimes) or 4th (pretty much everytime) gear pull this is what happens:
boost builds, and at ~ 5500rpm it throws a map code.
i understand that stock is only good for ~ 14 psi/ish. i am at ~6000 ft altitude, so 11psi is like 9psi at sea level, this coupled with the 14 psi thing, just sesnt make sense.
i am under the inpression that emanage is supposed to intercept the map voltage so the ecu never sees boost.
the emanage is wored in right, or i would have this problem in 2nd (where i reach full boost also), but its fine in 2nd.
any help would great
thanks in advance.

Using the ignition harness and software?
If not, the eManage works in pretty much the same way as the VAFC.

i never had that problem with mine but that may be due to the fact that i have the greddy 3 bar map sensor when you get the software there is a option for the e manage to read off the greddy pressure sensor after the stock map sensor is maxed out so you may want to look around to see if you can get a three bar also there is a way to make a gm 3 bar work and it is a fraction of the cost

did you clamp the voltage of the map. Try clamping at all RPM levels at around 2.75 volts thru the emanage. This should help. You will also eventually if not already need another map sensor. It will not last with all that boost.
