Just got done hooking up my emanage before the turbo goes on and it runs very odd the idle was surging and I have a flashing yellow light and a solid green light on the unit and when i drove it after like 1/4 throttle it just bogs really bad and it doesnt move...even without the turbo on it should still just drive normal right just run a little rich??? I checked all my connections too...please help

if you completely hooked up the e-manage then IT will be controlling the fueling of the car now....

keep that in mind.

whatever settings the adjustment points on it came with from the factory...that's your new fuel curve and god only knows what it is so your fueling is probably all over the place.

the e-manage can be used for both boosted and N/A cars.

 

It came pre-tuned for the greddy kit and my motor, I just wasnt expecting it to run the way it did....I am still in the process of putting the turbo on so I guess theres no going back now.

Honestly this is really where the tuning portion comes into play. GREDDY unfortuneately won't help that much.

Or call GODSPEED, they are E-manage exports

It is pretuned so it says... it bogs like crazy I cant drive it the way it is though...I unplugged the box and it runs ok like that just lean so I am thinking it might be a bad box???

 

your emanage is showing a trouble code since the light is flashing. You can look how to read it on mohdparts.com or in the manual. I would try that and see what the problem is.

 

Its not a red light on the active side that is orange till i hit the throttle then it is green till i let off the interaction light is the one thats flashing so I cant grab a code or anything off it...for anyone that hooked this up I noticed some conflicting wiring diagrams.. the one from the emange book i found online and the one from the instructions are different. It says on one to use a12 for the injector ground then on the emanage instructions it says use a25 cause this be my problem????

 

The interaction light flashing all the time is normal. The green light turning orange is also normal (it turns orange when you cross the preset tuning point). Check out mohdparts.com and subscribe to the emange yahoo group. Tons of info there.

 

Figured it out I had the map in and outs switched runs good nice and quick now...anyone know any good emanage tuners in NJ?
