Default EManage

What are your feelings about Greddy EManage? I can get one with everything I need for about 580 or one that is already tuned for about 850. Emanage users please comment. Also for the NYC guys do you think RPM or DRT can tune it?

i haven't had any personal experience with the emanage but as far as i see for the $$$ it's worth getting a hondata . A guy I'm acquainted with dynoed his car with it on... made good power 240whp/220tq @ 15psi. but it still has some of the downfalls of the afc hack.

For the price of an emange, it would be better in your postion to get a hondata stage 2b. Now in my opinion a full engine managment system is the best bet.-pdang

I couple of my SR20DET friends run Emanage setups and they had to get new ROMs burned in order to get their 850cc injectors to run properly. Basically the got a TBO ROM for 850 injectors, GT2830 turbo, Z32 MAF sensor, GTR pump and then tweaked it with the Emanage. It doesn't matter how well you re-wrap it, "a piggyback will always be a piggyback".

What are the downfalls of the afc hack?

Why would you delete the Greddy base map? Use the base map to build other maps.

The part throttle bucking is more than likely due to the fact that the car was not street tuned though right? My guess most cars that have part throttle bucking from the afc hack or Emanage or even hondata is because it was tuned on the dyno for wide open throttle....but if the car was also tuned for the street via wideband o2...this should eliminate the part throttle bucking wouldn't it? Please correct me if I am giving bad info...

The guys here have done quite a bit with the emanage. They have even figured out greddy's code and come up with an excel macro to import the datalogging.
