Electromotive TEC 3
electromotive is awesome..... you will be ruining a distributorless setup with the tec wich is bad *** and it has great tuning capabilities... ust a bit $$$$
It looks tempting, but you have to add so much to the $1850 price of the base unit-sensors, harnesses, coil paks, trigger wheel, etc...it ends up being more like $2400 which is $800 more than a Hondata w/an MSD Digital 6+.

where dd you find hte motec for that price, and is htat with all the sensors and stupid stuff they dont mention until you buy the ecu itself
yeah that seems pretty low for a motec.me personally i just received my tec-2 the other day,but i;m still about a month from installing it.i love the lack of distributor.plus they took my stock pulley and machined the tooth marks right into it.i didn;t have to get a seperate trigger wheel.

your bro has a saturn, go chek it out and ask him.... in order to run a distrbutorless honda you gotta have settings for it on your stand alone and like hte tec2 and haltech's whenever you go distributorless it will be waste spark.. you also have to get extra components, look here on electomotive's website http://www.electromotive-inc.com/products/hpx.html
and that civic in the picture above was runing a haltech stanalone system...

the waste spark is because 1 coil pack on the tec2 powers 2 plugs so when the coil fires it sparks on the compression stroke and a plug on the exhaust storke, when its fired on the exhaust its called waste spark and it has no effect on the engine.
price is 1050 shipping already included
