Electric Supercharger
http://www.performancechiptuning.com...PSI+Vortex/10/
Has anyone seen these things, my first thought i laughed and just shook my head, but now i'm wondering if this crap could have any merit. I know without tuning your ecu to add more fuel this wouldn't do crap, but just curious about what you guys think. I will not be buying one of these i think its about retarded just curious what you guys think.

Re: Electric Supercharger
that is garbage. there are however something comparable that i have seen. it looked like the turbo compressor housing attacted to an electric motor, i remember reading impressive numbers, those similar to a supercharger and turbo (low and high end)
im going to search for it.

Re: Electric Supercharger
it probably create 5 psibut with forced induction the charger weather its turbo or supercharge has to create around 14 psi before it starts to pressurize the manifold as this is atmosphereic pressure. so essentially a turbo is really making 114ish psi before actually boosting the engines air intake. the 5 psigenerated b this thing will give it maybe a quick kick but as soon as its over that will more then likely be a restriction

Re: Electric Supercharger
Lol at this
. It would not take a vehicle more than 30 seconds to reach over 100 MPH, during this period the supercharger would be working when your vehicle is floored.

LMAO i like their testing procedure. I can knock over a 2x4 piece of wood by just blowing on it.
FYI i dyno'd a car with one of these fans on it. It did absolutey nothing to the HP
