Default ek b20 turbo intercooler location

I'm probably going to turbo my b20 in the future, and I'm trying to figure out if it’s a good idea/ if it’s been done before to mount the intercooler next to the half radiator in my ek. The reason why is because b20 swaps and turbo kits on a Honda are a NO go in CA and the front mount sticks out like a sore thumb. Any help will be much appreciated.

*picture is NOT my car

Oh yeah. Sure. Place it CLOSER to the heat source and obstruct it even further. Good idea just to try and get around driving dirty.

Why post a pic then?

the pic is pretty close to how my engine currently looks, there's a ton of empty space next to the radiator so that's why I asked if it's a good idea, the heat makes sense...do you have any ideas on alternative locations that aren't front mount?

Yes. I do.

And I think people know what the engine bay of a Civic looks like with a B20 sitting in it,

how would you mount the intercooler if you were in my shoes? I'm sure that most of the people on honda-tech know exactly what a civic engine bay looks like, I posted that pic to show a similar engine bay to mine and to show I dont have a/c i guess

Side mount intercooler. Look 'em up. Get creative. You're trying to fool cops obviously.

I'd really like to see you hide the sound of a blow off valve.

I'll try to get a blow off valve that's not really loud and recirculate it

Actually, I'm scoffing at the idea that he's going to hide a boosted B20 in Cali for any length of time and that he's even considering it.
