Ok so i got an egt gauge but i really dont wanna drill my FR mani
My question is either i drill the dumptube and get readings only at WOT or in the downpipe.
How far off will the temps be in these 2 possible choices compared to drilling the 3rd runner of the manifold?

 

well in the runner and on the dump, it is coming straight from the cumbustion chamber. on the downpipe its coming out of the hot turbine. Im not sure how hot a turbine gets exactly but Im wondering if the turbine would make it hotter as the air passes thru it, possibly throwing off the readings?
