BOOST/WATER TEMP gauge issues..

so im wiring up my boost and water temp gauges and i have a couple of questions.. 1. which wires would i splice in order to wire both for lighting (if that makes sense : /) and also where do i connect the water temp gauge under the hood. sorry for sounding stupid guys.. im just starting to learn
