I have heard from people on here that your exhuast temps will drop with a full 3" exhuast.

mine reads about 1100 deg. F. at 60mph and 1200 F. at 70 mph. the sensor is mouted on cylinder #3 about 1.5 inche from the head. my apexi a/r reads 16-17 at cruising but i think it's wrong because my 02 is none heated and it's mounted behind the turbo, so the reading might be off.

Mines in the downpipe flange attached to the turbo, it reads 710c in slight boost in 4th gear, but other then that it usually hits around 8 in mid boost, and in full boost in lower gears its 810-840c, The highest I ever got was doing 3rd gear to redline (NOT BOOSTING, JUST SLOWLY PULLING TO REDLINE TO TEST 3rd GEARS MAX MPH) it crept up near 850....

Also one time racing some gay riced accord on the highway it almost reached 900c.... I know that isen't good so I slowed down... My car needs some bigger injectors and tuning.. which is what I'm working on

you should mount the sensor on the turbo manifold about 1.5 inche from the head. cylinder #3 usually run the hottest. it should read hot when running lean and cold when rich if you mount the sensor right. if you mount the sensor on the down pipe too far from the head, it could read hot when you run too rich because the left over fuel burns in the turbo, so you would think that it was running lean.

Closer to the head the probe is the better. If you run lean your readings will be hotter and vise versa.

So that's why I'm runing hot,too much fuel going into the turbo I know i'm not runing lean, right now i'm driving like an old lady on the high way. What is a normal temp. with a tooned motor and 3" exost. I'm planing to keep the probe on the same spot is it bad?
