Drill and tap...simple as that. My VDO is pretty accurate and responsive. Plus at $125 it won't break the bank

just dril and tap?
would i need to use some JB weld??

and that means i need to take out the whole turbo and manifold, right?

No not jbweld!

JBweld will not work on a manifold. It will burn and make some wicked toxic fumes! I found this out the hard way on a broken wastegate bolt.

[edit- you want to remove the manifold if you can, metal shavings=bad]

I just took mine to a local shop here and he did it for $75. That was worth if for me not having to take the mani and dp off hehe I hate that!
$75!!! Ouch! should have just drilled and tapped while the engine was running. Exhaust will blow out the shavings

Won't the shavings get stuck in the cat?

exhaust would only blows lil part of the particles... lots of that stuff would still get in the turbo... not worth the risk... dont ever do a half A$$ job with it if you want it to be reliable....

My probe is in the SAME place in that picture above... reads as accurate as all these guys having it 1" off their 3rd runner... My egt and all my gauges were installed with the turbo all together at the shop I had this all done at. RPM on queens NYC. I'd recommend them to anyone, they do amazing work.
