EG with LS turbo with probs
I havent tore the motor apart. We just finished it. Fully built. From top to bottom. Its a 92 LS turbo in my 92 hatch. Heres the prob. MY car runs fine on the first day. I boosted it a lil like to 6 psi to see if things are working okay. LAter that night my radiator cracks. I am getting a new one. so I take it home and put my car to sleep. Today I started my car and it sounds like its running on 1 cylinder. We checked everything as far as out side. We did a compression test and came to 80, 80, 80, 80 all the way across. Did my rings go out already. Motor only has like 3 miles on it. or did my head gasket blow. I dont know. Anyone ever have this prob.

Dude, you have to break in your motor for at least 1000 miles, 2000 is better. You boosted on a motor with 3 miles on it? Your rings are probably shot. The first few miles are the most important, it should be driven very, very lightly to the point where you're barely accelerating. If I were you I wouldnt even break in a motor with the turbo on. It's best to do it N/A.
