I ran that 10.66 granny shifting and not being able to rev past 8200 rpms.
Tranny synchros were shot and the head was toast, it would not make power past 81-8200 rpms. I hit 8200 rpms by the 1000ft mark. And it just hesitated the rest of the way, i would been better off shifting the damn thin to 5th gear. Anyways i have a new motor set up, twin scroll manifold. I'll be happy if i see 740 plus. And i think the odds are good. Well see.

You might want to look at the new ETT turbos from forcedinductions. Their 66mm wheels will flow over 78lbs/min and the 68 flows almost 81lbs/min. I has a custom 62mm unit built......and I have seen these units being used now on the Supra's and even big cube engines like the V8's.

how well would a t72 with a .70 ar exhaust housing flow up to 9500? I dont wanna starve it up top but i dont want a 1.01 ar turbine housing.

Look at the compressor maps. Its not that hard. Look what the compressor efficiency is at 65-75lb/min.

I don't see how it would starve up top.
