ecutout on Greddy Kit
Anyone have an ecutout on their greddy kit? Which ecutout are you using and how did you set it up?
I have the 18G on my 96 LS and was curious.. If I put the cutout off the downpipe would that cause problems... i.e. throw codes when I use the cutout given the O2 sensor??

you can do a ecutout. first of do you still have the secondary 02 sensor? if so get a 02 sim from us. that will solve the check engine light situation. then you can run anykind of ecutout you want. as far as setting it up you will just have to buy a ecutout and then put the car on a lift and start cutting and welding. then depending if it is a manual or electric cutout you can go from there
OK.. now the Greddy blue box doesnt use that secondary O2 wire for anything does it??
I think I may just bolt the cutout to the DP and then weld in flexpipe and get rid of the cat.. what do you think?? Right now I have the stock cat with just spring bolts...

No, but your ECU will still read from the secondary O2 sensor so you will throw a check engine light. So if you do get rid of your cat, you will throw a check engine light unless you get an O2 simulator from the guy above.
