i know a lot of you are agianst using a ebay turbo kit but i saw one the other day on a h22 and i was very impressed with it i was told the car was making over 400whp and from there on the wheels have been turning in my head to do the same to my car i have a stock block and head i was planning on boosting and seeing how far i could go with it. in the future i plan on fully building my motor but for now i wanna push out as much power as possible the way it sits i went on ebay and there are all different kits and i was wondering if anyone knows which is the best kit on there and if they have any experience with it

Better to do it right from the start. My bro has a godspeed kit on his car. made 400 and some change at church. The turbo has held up fine for the past years. The only problem we had was that the mani cracked twice. No biggie we fixed it and made a brace for it. But in the end we ended up swapping out the mani for a rc autowerks unit and everything has been fine. Really the only good thing about the kit is the pipping and fmic. The copy bov will give you mad compressure surge. Its a hit and miss with these kits. I know people that had good luck with them. And some that just never really worked right.

Build a cheaper turbo kit but still use name brand ish!

I built a turbo kit for a friend. Blox manifold, real tial 38, garrett T3/TO4E, built the downpipe and charge piping using JC whitney bits, XSpower intercooler, tial BOV, fast-turbo oil lines. It was around 1400 bucks for the whole setup, I think. Not much more money than an egay kit, and it's got a year of service and 20+ thousand KM's on it!

I think the only thing that you can buy from ebay would be the piping and fmic that wouldn't be a complete junk. Other than that get a good manifold that wont crack and a good turbo that will last a while.
