without reading this whole thread just the OP's statement about these china turbo, I wanna bet you all that the guy before him beat the hell out of that turbo as soon as he put it on!!! I wonder did he Lubricate the turbo, by having someone hold the compressor wheel at startup until oil made its way into the turbo? those xs turbos aren't to junky, i see threads all over h-tech.com, nwp4life.com, etc, and these ppl will not answer the queestioon directly "DID you allow Oil to get to the turbo?" sometimes they are a hit or miss but i say if you want to turbo bad and you only have $1000 id say buy the kit for $700 then when the kit gets there sale the turbo and manifold for $200 and buy save up for a brand-name brand-new turbo and manifold!!! hell, ive seen ppl dump $700 into pistons and rods just to have a blown motor so that you get what you pay for doesnt always stick to the op GOODLUCK!!!

I have never had this happen to me or my friends that have ran ebay turbos. I know of one that has been used for 2.5yrs without a problem. The newer ebay turbos are much higher quality than the older versions from pre-2008.
