It looks exactly like the pictures I've seen of them.

Are you going to run it?

No, saw it posted for sale as a Garrett. Said the same thing, looks exactly like an "ebay" turbo.

Never end heard of these "ebay" turbos. That's amazingly sad that those even exist, cause that means people run them. They can't last long

looks like a china charger to me

Ive had many of my customer cars running ebay snails and they worked just fine, i guess as long as you dont go dirt cheap on one and install it properly you should be fine

Admittedly I dont run one myself, but looking through our timeslip registry's here on the site there are quite a few Ebay turbo's running some pretty respectable times. While people may not care for them, others seem to be pretty pleased with the performance they're getting out of them.

Frankly I'm a fan of anything that works, and works well, and the cheaper the better. Ideally as these turbo's improve quality wise, and start posting faster times we'll see the name-brand turbo's stop rediculously overcharging just because XYZ shop put their name on a newfangled superduper design that is really just a generic design re-badged.

It's kinda funny the difference in import communities vs. domestic. Domestics want to go fast on the smallest budget they can manage most of the time. Within our community you're almost dismissed and not taken seriously, no matter how fast the car is, if it's not running the newest latest greatest and most expensive setup. Not ranting or venting, to each their own. Just making a humourous observation between the two communities.

i think it's safe to say both communities have their low budget and high budget groups.
