i've been using an ebay civic 1/2 rad in my prelude bout a month now, and its leaking somewhere, i just dunno where yet.

i gotta add about 1/3 of a gallon of coolant every two weeks to keep it topped off, but no over-heating issues yet. just running a LITTLE warmer than i would like it to.

i'll get back to you if/when i figure out where its leaking

I've been looking at those Mishimoto radiators for around $100 shipped. They look like a great deal and has good feedback about them. If my del sol dual core goes out then I'll pick one up.

To the people who have/are thinking about these radiators: simply look inside of the radiator and you will see that the coolant passeges are much smaller than an OEM radoator, and nowhere close to those in a Koyo/Fluidyne/PWR etc. They are junk, and you get what you pay for.

so far i've heard more good things than bad about these ebay radiators. i'd rather get a fluidyne but how would a civic dx radiator do with a b series turbo setup? intermediate abuse?

I bought a yonaka off some sponsor on here....the only things i was unhappy with were the fact you cannot use your oem cap(now i have a mugen cap on my beater ) and mine didnt have the dimple on top to use with the stock holdown

Other than that, not bad for $150

Here is the place I got my cap for my Ebay Radiator http://www.absoluteradiator.co...pt=11
Note: You'll want to the first one pictured (mini) because its for the longer profile necks of these radiators. The Stock style cap is a lower profile radiator neck cap.
You can all thank me later hahaha.

Sure, they will work for farting around town, but they are marketed as 'racing radiators' which they are not. Put a car on a steady state dyno with one of these radiators. The difference between a junk radoator and a quality one becomes apparent in about 20 seconds no matter how big the dyno fans are.

damn i don't think koyo or pwr makes a half size and fluidyne's cheapest is $300, that's double/triple the price of ebay ones. i've bought cheap parts in the past and have had bad luck with them. i just need something that'll work. i'll just borrow my buddy's duel core and think about it.

my mishimoto works great and it was like $130 shipped. the only complaint is that the cap is a little tuff to take on and off when u first own it but it will loosen up especialy if u r like me and checking your fluids pretty much every time u put gas in the car.

fan $20 radiator $130 over flow $75 having more room to stuff a top mount in my car (someday) priceless.

Good for you. I was simply conveying my personal, first hand experiences with crappy radiators. I'm glad the one you 'saw' worked out.

yeah i found the one for $64.80 and about $100 shipped. i guess it's not bad for a radiator, i'll give it a try and if i don't like it, find a way to return it.

and mat, where you get your fan for $20, direct fit? also will there be enough room for my ram mani? looks a little pass the center of car.

i actually have a mishimoto radiator in my closet right now. i was having overheating problems with a stock fan and stock integra radiator. but right now i have 2 pusher's on the fullsize.

i dont know if im going to end up using the mishimoto because i dont know if 1 fan and a halfsize will cool good enough.

idk what to do yet. =\

let me know how it works out for you.
