i think the point is missed about t he ebay intercooler and lets say a spearco intercooler of coarse it will "work" but will it work effecientlly? its kind of like comparing a log style mani to a tubular style mani of coarse the log will work but no where near efficient as a tubular .the only way to see the difference is actually testing the 2 with iat on both sides thne you will see the big differenc e

i know bodykitsNW was gonna test them, but i don't know if he got around to doing it or not. it would be a really good thread if someone could test them out. everyone does tend to hate on the china products, but IC's seem to work fine.

my SSAC ic is working good. i wanted a bar and plate design, which usually don't come cheap, and i got it for a good deal. it was either 170 or 210shipped. i forget.. my cousin got his not too long, which is a little bigger, but it came with some metal shavings in it.... better check and blow on those suckers first.

i got teh XS Power intercooler looks great and they say its good to 510hp so perfect for me!

only downside is there are no mountin points on it so ill have to weld some on..

all intercoolers do is cool air... unless it has very few fins or a hole in it i would say they are all just about the same you may see small differences in efficiency or flow rate but 2-4cfm or .5psi dont matter that much to me

*Core Size, 6.5" X 19" X 3.5"
*Overall lenght 27.5"
*2.5" inlet/outlet
*760 CFM flow rate
*510 HP efficient

*3.5" thick
*19" long core
*6.5" high
*2.5" inlet/outlet
*1cfm @ 1.5 psi drop

I was just reading some old threads and found this one. Is anyone using this intercooler

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...sting

I initially wanted a precision unit but If I can save money and get something that will perform nearly the same then Im all for it.
