Tuner Toys said their rods are good to 500HP, but only 6-7000 rpms. I don't know where eagle maxes.

I think some of the BIG HP guys are using Pauter and Manley rods.

Eagle says they are good for 700hp on the smaller bolts. More on the bigger bolts.
Who knows though. People on here have pushed the smaller ones.

If you are that worried either get the bigger bolts. or go with Manley or Pauter or Carillo or something similar

i've heard 1000hp from eagle but in reality isnt it more an issue of RPM with these things?

They told me 1000hp on the bigger bolts. Didn't specifiy rpms though. We had a bolt break at 10K rpms and 34 lbs of boost, no we hadn't planned on pushing it that far, it just keep wanting more, kept on making more hp. Then bam, rod though block, rear bolt broke, spit the rod out the front of the block. The rod seemed fine, believe it or not, i think we just got a bad rod bolt.

I thought it was 600hp with the smaller bolts.

I know a certain someone who threw a Pauter or Manley rod thru his block at low boost.
DelSohn Racing, see if he will give you info.
. They think it was a builder error with rod bolt tq stretch specs. But it wouldnt suprise me if most of these cases came from that.
