For those running e85 straight out of the pump, not even checking consistancy...have you run into any problems? Mostly concerned about 500+whp setups.
Speaking of consistancy at the fuel pump, here is something I have thought about. At most gas stations now-a-days there is a multi-selector for the octane and then there is one physical hose. So you pull up and select 93 octane. Well, more then likely the person before you bought 87. So that would have to mean that when the gas pump starts pumping 93, it actually has to push out any 87 that was still in the hose. So depending on where that 3 way split is inside the pump, you could actually get a 1/2 gallon (or maybe more) of 87 octane when you fill up.
PS, I wish we had E85 here in Dallas/Fort Worth in any practical quantity. I have to drive 60 miles each way to work, which is about 5 gallons round trip for me and I only have a 8 gallon tank. So E85 would have to be pretty easy for me to consider switching over considering I would be getting even less range.

im on e85 and close to 500hp i get my gas straight from the pump and had no problem. one little advice is once you fill up your tank run the car for 10 min or so before you step on it. ( you want to warm up the e85) and you should be golden.
