Default e85 cooling?

So while running some errands with a friend we stopped by our local dyno, there was gst getting tuned.I then noticed what looked like two oil coolers.so being the curious person I am I asked the owner the reason behind them. His response was one was actually to cool the e85 he was running. Now my question is there an actual performance gain or any advantage to trying to cool e85?keep in mind this wasn't just a bolt on dsm...big turbo a lot of boost etc..
From what I've heard before cooling it would be useless

My car runs super cool even when making 35psi passes at the track. Almost never goes over 190!

Cooling the fuel doesn't hurt, but IMO it's a waste of time with E85.
