E85 before and after
i made 323 whp on my b17 at 9.5 psi.
Neukin Manifold & DP,
GT3251E,
550 injectors,
large precision intercooler,
Greddy Profec B II Electronic Boost control,
hks SSQ,
tial 44mm wastegate
im thinking bout convering to e85 using 1000cc injectors.
what kind of power do you think i can make?

Well in that case, you'll probably make anywhere from 323 whp to 750 whp.
(hint, hint)

Re: (Schister66)
the power will vary based on how much boost you will run after you switch to e85.
my buddy has a stock ls teg on e85 and hes running pte 880's on 18psi daily and makes about 400-420. full interior ran a 11.5 at like 125 if i member right.
more boost = less timing. about 2-3 deg. per lb. of boost.

damn dude last time I checked 1deg/lb is good enought on pump gas, but god damn. At 18psi instead of being BTDC you will end up in ATDC.
Yea since people run 1deg/lb on pump gas, I'm pretty sure you can run .75deg/lb on e85. You should see power gains at same boost level, and lower EGTs. Your best bet is to go to a dyno with det can if you want to see how much timing you should run, because nobody really wants to share their tunes on e85. It's like thier secret squirle.

why atdc running 18psi?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm just saying if you are 2-3deg/lb you would end up at ATDC at 18psi.

The Car you are talking about made 357whp@18psi best time so far has been 11.587@122mph

I made more power at the same boost level by just switching over to E85...i made 321whp@10psi 57trim on pump gass on a dynojet, i was trapping about 112-114mph a that level...when i switched to E85 i was trapping 115-116mph and the same boost level....i then turned it up to 12psi my best trap now has been 120.69mph and i hit the 8400rpm revv limiter about 50ft before the end...so i think there is still more mph in the car...the car with me in it weighs 2700lbs..i havent been to the dyno since the 12psi retune but i am guessing it has around 360-370whp...
To the OP i think if your car is tunned correctly i dont see a problem with you making 400whp
