Default E-Cut out Question

Do people with an ecut out on their downpipes tune the car with full exhaust and the ecut out? Because when I think of it, if your car is tuned with full exhaust, and then you decide you want to run open downpipe, the tune will be off and you will mess up your engine. So how does it work? Get tuned with each specific setup or just once with full exhaust

If you have the ability to switch maps with your ems, then tune for both. If not, tune with the cutout open.
