Dynoed my Car Again... 775whp 570wtq
My plan was to get to 36-38psi however my wastegate spring combo wouldn't allow for me to go over 32-33psi. I put in new springs tonight and fixed a exhaust manifold gasket leak that i had as well.
Heres a breakdown on the tuning session
18psi
530 WHP
24psi
650WHP
28psi
730WHP
32psi
775WHP
570WTQ
More Dyno and Track time for this year will come very shortly!!
I will Post up a short vid of the dyno soon!

the graph looks a little lazy for a 40r.
that seems like alot of power for that amount of boost.
also why do you only rev till 8500 rpm?

I've seen a couple graphs from dynapak's where the turbo seems to spool really late. I've been told it has to do with the ramping rate. Does it seem laggy like the dyno, or is it just the ramp settings. When i had my 40r it was making 30psi by 5500 or so. Mine only made 650 at 30psi though, but that was on a dyno jet. Same for Joe Simpson, right at 650 on a dynojet, both cars went 152mph at 2450lbs.

Whats done to the transmission?
What are you doing differently now sence you made your 704whp @ 29psi?
I'm just in disbelief that 4psi got you another 71whp out of that thing..

Impressive numbers to hear, for sure..
3000rpm -width of power seems kinda worthless, for nothing other than a number, though..
Don't get me wrong - I'd love to knock on 300hp, let alone 700+.. but hardly seems worth the effort, given that the dyno graph goes to 8500, and it didnt ramp (steep, mind you)until ~5500..

probably because torque starts dropping off at 7K according to that graph, so what would be the point of spinning the motor any more?

Wider range of near-peak power as well as having to spend less time with the foot down trying to recover from whatever the engine may lose inbetween shifts would be my best guess.

Congrats Corey!!
On his previous tune (704 whp) he already ran 9's pass with 150+mph trap speed. I can't imagine what he gonna do now. Good luck with your tranny thought.
