actually theyre not that big of a mystery...pretty easy to get ahold of.
the thing i am wondering is how much power gain he is making with just the cams alone? </TD></TR></TABLE>
So I guess this is the part where I am supposed to ask you what they are, I dont really care, just very curious.

I dont understand why everyone is saying this turbo isnt cabable enough to produce 775whp. That turbo is a really bad *** turbo. I know a guy that has a gt40r that slapped down 744awhp in a 2.0 mitsu motor.

I don't know what to tell the haters....
ON A DYNAPACK I PUT DOWN 775whp and 570WTQ at 33psi falling to 32psi at the end of the pull.
Take it however you want. Call Dynapack and ask them how there dyno compares to others... Heres the number...(559) 292-3800
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by tony1 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
Exactly, my car ran 9.80 at 152 and Joe Simpsons car ran 9.77 @ 152 with the same turbo, but heavier cars, both at 2450lbs. Both of those cars put down 650whp on a dynojet...</TD></TR></TABLE>
And mine put down 675-700 on a dynapack. So according to Tony Palo, Dynapacks read 4-8% higher than a dynojet...
So Everyone jump on the bandwagon and say dynapacks read 4-8% higher than a dynojet! Doesn't much matter to me. Like I said before, it is just a tuning tool and is one of the best out there!
Thanks for all the compliments. I couldn't have done it without many of peoples! Scotto, Eric, Joshua, Fowler Machine Shop, Patrick, Jeremy, Jon, Pham, TC, AJ, all of my suppliers listed in my profile, many people on here... Earl, ARTurbo, XXXracing, Boosted Hybrid, All my supporters locally and nationally. Way to many to list! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

There's nothing you can tell them. Poeple just can't wrap there heads around the fact that numbers fluctuate from dyno to dyno, even dynos of the same make. It doesn't really matter, the proof is in the pudding and that pudding is a 9 second car that traps 150 mph and is going to be faster this season. Good job.

It's not that they read higher all the time, it's that there are settings that have to be set on a dynapak, and when they're wrong the reading are all skewed. HP/TQ/ and RPM. Torque and RPM especially being very odd on this one.
And comparing your numbers to ours, we're 150lbs heavier and going 2-3 mph faster. It only takes a hair over 600hp to go 149ish with a 2300lb car.
We'll see what it runs at the track now though, i guarantee you it won't go 160mph...
And to everyone calling people "haters", learn a little more about how **** works and think for yourself instead of saying "wow, you made 120 more ftlbs of torque than just about any honda with a similar setup...."

As mentioned above.... I wonder if there are some "VTEC Killers" under that hood, wouldnt that make the car lose some low end?

We went through this last time Tony, I set the Gear Ratios, TC Factor, Weigh, etc all the way they are supposed to be. I have owned this dyno for over a year. I can post any screenshot you want... I will post them all tomorrow just for you.
I don't want to bench race but I do beleive that I will be in the upper 150's to lower 160's mph this year. Not a doubt in my mind.
Thanks,
Corey Parrish

What hotside do you have on the GT40R? 1.06?
Heres Geoff's dyno on a gt40r making 792whp at 41psi:
http://dynos.evans-tuning.com/792whpgeoffcivic.jpg
He went on to upgrade the hotside to a 1.06 a/r, larger intercooler and cams and was making 700whp at 24psi IIRC.

I don't want to speak for him, but no he's not. The Parish with the blue truck, his first name is Parish. Also, he's in Nebraska and not Ohio.

Re: Dynoed my Car Again... 775whp 570wtq (miller)
alright sense this is gettingout of hand i've got a firsthand test
My buddies ek hatch dyno'd 363whp at correy's shop in early jan (we're in ohio, so fairly cold). a couple months ago we put the car on the dyno (dynojet) at a local car show and made 333whp.
Sense the car left the shop mark and myself have put in dss stg5 axles, a quaife diff, and different clutch. So all in all we get an 8.264% difference from correy's dyno to a dyno jet.
BUT it was 90+ degrees out on the dyno jet and there was more rotational mass via axles, hubs and diff (for what its worth).
Not taking sides, every dyno is different, and i agree that the numbers seem high for what the car traps BUT once again there are so many factors
details

how about this...everyone shuts their mouths and he puts the #'s down at the track. he ran consistant 9's last time and i dont know how he will not improve his times now that he has picked up quite a bit more power on the same dyno as he tuned on before. if he doesnt hit above 155mph then im willing to bet my left nut that its because he is spinning his *** off all the way down the damn track!

Re: (cuin9sec)
i have never seen a honda spin the tires all the way down the track and if it does its not because of the power its because the suspension setup is fubar.

First I would like to say "BIG UPs " to 95c1v1cs1 and his car. Second, 98% on this board wish we could have a 9s civic, so that means he must be doing something right. Like he said before, the dyno is just a tuning tool. Keep making power and running 9s!!!!
