Dynoed the hatch
Well we dynoed our shop's hatch and made 621whp and 348trq @ 27psi of boost only had 1.5hr of dyno time and couldnt get to tune with a dose of n20. so with 55shot of nitrous expectation of 670+whp.
Setup:
B18C1 bored to 84mm
AEBS Sleeves
CP Pistons 9.7cr
Crower rods
Neukin turbo manifold
Ferrea springs and retainters.
Full-Race t3/t67
MSD 1000cc injectors
ported by a local machine shop
i'll post a dyno sheet and pics of the new setup after this weekend's race.
Previous setup with SSAuto chrome manifold made 570whp and 300+trq @ 27psi. ran a 10.8@138mph with 24-25psi with the car weighing in at 2330lb. This setup should do really low 10's hopefully...
suspension work will be next...

Nice numbers!!
What wheel and exhaust a/r housing are you guys running? And why not just turn the boost up more, instead of doing the nitrous shot?
I would love to see the dyno sheet!

Well after 27 psi you can tune the afr's for more boost but not the timing, is what I have been told.</TD></TR></TABLE>
hmmm we'll have to look into it.
the specs:
Turbine
76 trim stage V wheel.
0.63 AR.
Compressor
63 trim 67mm T04R wheel.
T04S housing.
0.70 AR.

Re: Dynoed the hatch (maxspeedhonda)
no we didnt check....but the tuner would have stated to us if the injectors were beyond 85%... been going to this tuner for years and he's conservative

Re: Dynoed the hatch (93H22ACX)
How is the spool up with that thing? I bought a T3/T67, it has the stage V wheel but it has the .82 A/R housing, think it will be too laggy on an 83mm GSR?

Re: Dynoed the hatch (racinskittle)
boost starts at: 3500rpm
full boost at: 5500rpm
redline at: 9500rpm
I'll post 1/4 times and dyno sheets with pics. heres a pic of it with its old setup:
The slicks tore the front bumper off...the slicks 26x8.5x15 went forward and dragged it off...now we have some traction bars so it should be better
SS Autochrome turbo manifold
new pics will be up this weekend
