Default Dyno'd the single cam

Setup,

Bone stock z6 with apr head studs.
T3 60 63 thunderbird turbo
2.5 inch intercooler piping
750 rc injectors
10 pounds of boost.
Leaking headgasket

The tuner did not get to finish smoothing out the air fuel because the head gasket started to leak under boost. I think im going to lower the boost because this is my daily driver. Overall I am amazed that is made this much power. Im going to put a new head gasket in it this weekend and go back so he can finish the tune. All fab was done by me in my garage winy my 30 year old tig.

WOW looks good. I htink your BOV is on backwards. I used one back in the day and i ran it the other way.

just an idea maybe someone else can give some idea on it.

super clean though for a daily.

Thanks

The bov is correct. I coppied the way its hooked up on a vw. It will work the other way but this way boost pressure keeps the valve shut instead of just relying on the spring pressure.

Wow, that's gonna be one of the most simple yet effective setups I've ever seen. Props to your craftsmanship! But what's that ziptied to the upper radiator hose? The o2 sensor? None the less, awsome numbers. What was it tuned on and can we see some pics of the down pipe?

Yep thats the o2 sensor, still need to remove it. It was disabled using chrome witch answers your question on what it was tuned on. Here is a pic of the setup on my mock up motor.

Thanks for the compliments

you might want to run less timing next time. Thats probably why the headgasket popped. Impressive numbers though . Were you getting boost creep? Your torque keeps climbing at the end of the graph.

I never really understood why people post dyno numbers where the motor didn't stay together. May just have been a weak HG but more than likely a tuning issue which is why you made that power to begin with.

I don't think it was/is a tuning issue. I put the head studs in without removing the head and the mileage of my motor is unknown. The timing was very conservitive. Im sure after i replace it it will be fine.

It's amazing what a little single cam can do. Two thumbs up for you.
