Dyno Help
Im about to go to the dyno with my set up.
It's basically a b18c1 with je 9.1, eagle rods, srp blockguard.
turbo is:
Garrett t3/t4oe .57 trim, .63 ar
the question is, will they be the one who tells me what they think they can tune max boost at(like if i told them my set up could they just guestimate and say they would tune to see max hp at XX psi???)
if not, what psi would yall be confindent in when going to dyno.
i want to run 7 psi daily but at the track im not sure what to turn it up too.
what is the max psi yall would run with this setup?

play it safe! but your setup is kind of like mine. so i would confedently say 8-10 for street is plenty ok. and meby 12-15 for the track. it relly depends on your injector sise, and what kind of engin manege your runing.

who tuned it, if they did a good, complete job, you can probubly run up to 18psi. but be very carefull, ignition timing, plug type, and fuel type get picky at that end of the spectrom. by the way that is my exact set-up. nice choice.

what do your numbers look like and at what psi?
also, whats the max psi you have run?
i was thinking about 15 psi at the track.
so your saying 8-10 daily is safe?

not exactly sure, but ive usually seen gsr with 9.1 CR at 10 psi make AROUND
270ish whp. not sure about 15 psi. but i would guess around 350ish.

i havent dynoed the new setup yet, still fixing the tuning-when i have time. but on my old set-up (9:1 but stock internals) i saw 298 whp @ 12psi. the new one like yours should be 20-40hp better. the only time i will ever run 18psi will be at the track. it's too much of a handfull on the street. and i would prefurr to be on some 104.

i had the inline-pro head gastet. it's like 3mm thick, and was designed to lower compression down to 9:1. it was not a good idea, only lasted 12k mi @12 psi.
