Can running your dumptube directly into your downpipe hurt anything??

 

why would it? depending on how you have it set up now it could probably help

 

my friend said something about the backpressure or something..but i think i am going to do it cuz i dont like how it so loud when i boost..

 

just vent it outside the car or something.

 

its vented in my engine bay right now and when i boost its way to loud...i dont like it...i want to hear the turbo spool not the wg blowing out....

 

you're robbing yourself of valuable horsepower anyway while venting it in the engine bay..........you don't want your turbo picking up exhaust do you? you want fresh air.

try to vent it under the car or something.

 

well i have a tube on it now and its vents almost to the middle of the oil pan so im sure im not putting to much air in the engine bay...but im going with hooking it up to the downpipe...
