dump tube question
i have a integra turbo and its tuned at 306 to the wheels on a mustang dyno ls/vtec
my questions is im running the wastegate open with no downpipe it faces the front of the car and black dust gets all over the hood lol....my question is beside being bad for the inviroment which i plan on getting the dt can it cause my car to act differnt...right now when i accel is 3rd gear it hessitates and im trying to find out if it has anything to do with that it like sputters any help would be great

If it's anywhere near your inlet it's probably dumping exhaust gases into your intake charge when it opens. Ideally, dumptubes should be routed well away from the cold side of the turbo, preferably at least down under the oil pan.

yup
i guarantee you are losing hp by not having it vented out side. i gained 25 whp on a dyno dynamics dyno, just by having my wg vent to outside the engine bay. i even have a dump tube. cheapest 25 whp ever
