Hey guys i was just wondering what would be the effects of running the dump tube into my exhaust. I have been running an open dump tube for about 6 mnths now, but it is starting to get on my nerves. I cant even get on it around town cause it is so damn loud. If anyone has any pics of how they have theres welded in i would apperciate them. I live in Tennessee and from what i have seen the welders around here are not the best.

I always run mine back into the exhaust. I don't care if I'm losing 10 horse (which I doubt I am) but I can't stand that massive exhaust leak sound. They say that you lose minimal power the farther back in the downpipe you go for the dump. I don't have any pics though..

 

That leak is what i am getting really tired off. When i hit the throttle hard in the middle of town or some where populated, its like everyone is looking at me. It seems that it is louder than a V-8.

 

huh ? mine doesnt sound liek it leaks, i cant even here mine open , all i hear is the spool

 

open dumptubes rock, I love scaring old people and women who can't drive by let the girl open up.

lol under tunnels are the best ever, I get honked at all the time when I do it.

dunno bout you but its fun for me.

To help, just find someone to extend the dump tube into the exahust as far back as possible (18" will do fine) and enjoy the quiet.

 

i dont even have a dump tube on my drag3 setup... mine sounds like a turbo tractor!
