I am still working on my setup and almost have everything done, but I need a wastegate that is rated at like 5 or 6psi max to be safe so I can boost low. What cars came with those types of actuators (make, model, year).

I plan on going to the pick n pull yard to pick me some pieces to finish up and I will be on the lookout for those.

well, do u have an internal wastegate currently? because if so, u can adjust the length of the rod of the wastegate to have it only boost 5 or 6 psi

Well, that is the thing, you can only adjust back so much until it becomes a problem with lag and not building boost quick enough to be any good. My current actuator is set @ 10psi and I think it begins to open at 6 or 7psi and then fully opens at 10psi from testing it on a air pump. I heard that 300zx's have 5psi actuators which it fully opens @ 5psi, but unfortunatly their aren't many to choose from at my yard I go to. I need models of cars that have 5-6psi actuators on them so I can run saftely without the chance of overboosting.

yes, I know what internal wastegate acutator opens at 6psi. Saab. get one from a saab t3 setup. as a matter of fact, I have one ready to ship, would you like it?

Im runnin one off of a 280zx and its holds at 6psi according to my autometer boost gauge.
