by adding a wastgate dumppipe, will this increase hp?? or just for some heat dissipation?? anyone with experiecne

 

some say it will help you gain a few ponies if you dump it back into your exhaust, but i dunno if thats true, there are alot of specualitions on that and how far downt he exhuast you should route it .
i just run a reg dumptube, routes stright down

 

That's backwards...most people say you LOSE HP by going back into the exhaust.

I think as long as you use your head when designing it won't be a big deal.

 

i don't recommend running without a dump tube... i made that mistake and now i have no a/c

 

depends on your setup.. on my friends its blowing on the downpipe and on the ground so it doesnt matter.. he has so much room under the hood its redicuous

 

Running an open dumptube will get u a few HP...It also get a little louder when the WG opens...Just make sure that its routed towards the ground and comes down as far as possible or better yet bring it down then divert it towards the back of ur car parallel to ur exhaust....

 

Yeah, I need to re-route my dump tube, when the WG opens I get major exhaust stink inside the car.
