this probably is a stupid question but how often do you start the car and what precautions if any are taken because it is not run as often as a daily driver?

Hell, we have a car in Colorado that gets started about once a month without problems. Now for a boosted app I am not sure, although I know that it is always a good idea to let the car warm up.

I run mine once a week just long enough for the thermostat to open and flow coolant. If you plan on having the same tank of gas for over 2 months, make sure you add an fuel statbilizer.
