dual stage boost controller and correct tuning????
im not meaning to jack the thread here, but i have wondered about dual stage boost controllers and tuning. and since poeple were talking about it i thought it would be a good time to ask.
when you get the car tuned, do you get it done for both of the levels you plan to boost at? say i plan to drive 8psi daily and bumb up to 15 at the track. does a fuel management system (ex. hondata) select from from two different fuel maps depending on boost or the switch of a button?
if not, then how do you accomadate for going from 8psi and 15psi and vice versa while avoiding destroying your engine?

yes it does as in yes hondata can handle this? is it with the push of a button, or does it change the fuel curve based on boost? what hondata has this feature? is it just the s200 w/ boost or is there something else i would need?

the x axis is how much boost you are running (map sensor value), the y axis is how many rpm you are at.
you program the fuel at these joining points in the spreadsheet for all boost values.
when you go to that rpm / boost level, the ecu finds the encoded value and uses it.
all hondata have this feature, its how it works, not a feature.
