Default DSM T-25 Too Small???

I've got a SOHC HMT style kit that I put together for my civic. I blew the Z6 so I bought an LS/VTEC with a built bottom end (polished GSR crank, eagle rods, wiseco 11.5 pistons). I am gonna turbo this beotch when I drop it in my civic. My question is will that turbo even make 5 psi at 8K?? I mean I would have full spool at around 3 but how much would be left up top?? I am planning on running a CCFab Short Tubular so I could always upgrade to a EVO III 16G when my friend and I go halves for a new turbo for him I get the 16g he is running. Help/ advice is appreciated.

Or just sell the kit all together and buy a good $700 turbo.

I wouldn't even want a small T25 on my D16, so it's going to be WAY too small for a built LS/Vtec. Your not going to want to boost that motor anyways with 11.5:1 compression. Assuming this will be a daily driver on pump gas you will want to drop the compression to around 9:1 give or take a few.

not worth the trouble to boost using the T25. your better of getting a properly trim T3. you don't want to have to re-fab a downpipe and new manifold later plus the T25 had full boost by 3K on my Z6...think how bad your top end is gonna suffer with that turbo.

With the right tuning I could run 8 psi on this motor but I REALLY don't want to risk it. And thats why I was asking, it was just an idea. Cause I already have the turbo. Oh and beerbong I was using your Uberdata .bin for my Z6.

I'm not saying you can't do it with high compression, a good friend of mine did a twin turbo ls/vtec with over 11:1 compression, but too be safe I would lower the compression.

I think my Uberdata bin has been in more cars than Wilt Chamberlain has been in women.

Even a t3 is a waste of time on a built b-series motor. He should get nothing smaller than a t3/t4 turbo.

with a built bottom end you could take 450hp.. but not with 11.5:1.. go 9:1 and get a SC61.. and some extra tires

Well it looks like you already decided it's not coming off, so you answered your own question. I wouldn't wory about the turbo on the engine if it's tuned well, but it will spool too fast and die hard up top. I will give it a little kick though.
