Default DSM Injector install Question (searched)

DO NOT give me a link to homemadeturbo.com or tell me to search!!!

My question is, What do you use on the top for the seal? Do you use the Harder plastic piece(the piece w/ two lips on the OE injectors) or not? Do you use the DSM o-ring or the OE o-ring? Thanks

Phil

Thanks. The injectors I have now (which I was told are dsm 450's but are not) have a very large upper o-ring and won't fit in the fuel rail. The barrel of these injetcors are the same size as the dsm's(the mani seal had to be modified) but, also have a lower o-ring? I'll just buy some DSM's

The o-rings are a much larger dia. than usual(oe ones). The tops are grey and they have plymouth emblems on the side of them.?

I have never used the dsm injectors but I know for my injectors. I just went to auto zone took my injectors and the fuel rail and played with the different size o-rings till I found one that fit good and tight.

I know once gas hits them they swell up. When I took the fuel rail off to change something I had to get all new orings.
Not sure if that helps.
