Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has experience with both DSM 450's and other bigger injectors. Are DSM's the only one with the rough start/idle problem? I put my stock injectors back in for emissions, and it's nice not having to pump the gas and (sometimes) pray that it starts. It also idles at a nice level instead of 500 or below sometimes on the DSM's. Do the RC 440's have rough idle/start problems ? If not, is it because they're Saturated versus Peak and hold (with resistor box of course) ?

DSM are the same as any other injectors. only difference is they are generally used for 100k + miles. that is why you can hear of them failing on a rare occasion. the only thing that will prevent them idling like stock is a crappy tuner

 

Instead of DSM 450's...I'd go DSM 560's ..I did!

 

what do the 560s come out of ?

how much you pickup the 560cc for? reasonable

 

I got lucky...$200 (fairly new)...they usually for a lot more

 

Im runninf RX7 460cc injectors. My car doesnt die at idle anymore but thats because of tuning like mentioned above. I was previously using a different ROM Editor, once I switched my problems went away.
