is it safe to drive a turboed civic on a safe map for a long period of time cause i thought that it was supposed to be a temporary thing until the car is properly set up

Do you mean a base map?

The point of that is for you to be able to drive the car to get it tuned. If you plan on driving it in boost for a long amount of time and beating the **** out of it, no, thats not really okay. If you don't plan on driving in boost and this is just for getting around town for a few days, you should be alright.

Why don't you just wait on putting on the turbo kit until you get everything straight?
