Default DRAG kit Question....

What part that comes with the DRAG gen III kit do i specifically need welded onto the oil pan? I've heard it's that 90 degree bending metal pipe, but i've never seen a picture of that pipe welded onto it. Also, one end of the pipe is longer than the other, so which end needs to attach to the pan?

The part you are talking about is the oil return line from your turbo. What it does is that it lets oil drain back into your oil pan. Becarefull where you weld your return, position it high on the oil pan so that oil can flow out easy with no resistance. The reason for that is that if oil does not flow out easy, oil can get backed up in your turbo and eventually blow seals. So BECAREFULL by the way have fun

Heres mine...no welding. Its a -10 AN fitting and elbow from a hydraulics shop. Not from a kit. <$20.

I think it is funny how if you get Earls fittings, your setup would be around 50 bucks or so, but the same shtish from a hydrolic store was less that 20!!

Just do as this guy did, but get steel braided hose for the return line, and the feed line as well.
