Default drag III and f-max

I was wondering what the most boost that the fuel system that drag and fmax come with can handle? What is drag III's limit? What is Fmax limit? This kit will be put on a LS.

I would not go over 7-8psi with either kit. Race gas will not assist if the car does not have enough fuel anyways.

eh..i was running 18psi on my old engine. I used the same fuel system f-max used...the erl mf2. Although i used two 550cc injectors not 440cc. But it ran really well..until i blew that vacuum line.....

Its all about tuning and detination control.

Although i wouldnt run over 8psi with a vortec FMU...cuz the fuel pressure will get soo high you could damage the fuel injectors.

I thought changing out to a smaller disk in the Vortec FMU's was a way to lower the fuel pressure, as long as u have the right size injectors to do it with (i.e. 8:1 disk and 310cc).

I know with a Vortech 12:1 would be suitable with stock injectors. With 8:1 would be with 310cc. How about 440cc??? 550cc??? How would I found which setup it will work???? Thanks for any help. My goal is tryin to get to 15psi+ which injectors would suit it also and how about 10psi? or 15psi flat????

I would go with 550's for 15psi, you'll need a fuel controller to run anything past 310's. If your still running an FMU setup, I think it would be ok to run 15psi with 310's. That would be like 120psi at 15psi should be the same as running 12:1 at 10psi with stock injectors. You can run different combinations with FMU, Fuel Controller, Adjustable Fuel Regulator or Standalone. I'd go with stand alone to avoid all that headache and run 550's or maybe more.

Could I just put the 550's in place of fmaxs 450s and then turn the boost to 18 pouns or what esle will I need? If I bought a Drag turbo what other than changing to 310's and changing the disk in the fmu would i need to boost 15 psi? I am not looking to go stand alone yet. This is not going to be in my daily driver so if it blows I will let it set till I get the back up motor in. thanks for all of the help.

you need something to control timing as well at that boost level. Standalone is the way to go if your gonna plan on boosting high.
